Milestones

1984 - Uflex - pioneering the flexible packaging revolution , started with printing set-up.
1986 - Chemical Etching Cylinder plant.
1989 - Installation of the first engraver from OHIO Engravers (U.S) with the complete plating line,
             Daetwyler Polishmaster and Heaford Proofing Press.
1993 - Established another plant in India for Rotogravure Printing Cylinders Engraving.
1995 - Expansion programme by adding 6 new Engravers in Noida (India) plant with all European Plating
             and Polishing lines and New Heafort Proof Presses. Presently 11 Engraving machines in
             our Noida unit.
2005 - Started a new Cylinder Manufacturing unit in Dubai (UAE) with all European machine set up.
2008 - Started a new unit in Cairo, Egypt with European machines.
2011 - A new Printing Cylinder manufacturing unit started in Jammu(India).
2012 - Present capacity - producing 12000 cylinders / month with a total turover of US $ 20 million.
2013 - On the anvil, state -of-the-art Automatic Plating and Polishing Line in Egypt.
2014 - State of art schepar laser engraving line has been commissioned at noida, India plant for making
            special purpose cylinders for embossing, specialized coating, security features etc.
2015 - 1. New plant has been established for gravure printing cylinders manufacturing at Nairobi, Kenya
                 with the capacity of more than 12000 cylinders/annum.
            2. A “LEAD LASER” Flexo printing sleeve making facility has been introduces to make high precision
                 Flexo sleeve at Uflex Jammu, India plant.
2016 - A robotic laser engraving line from M/s. Think Lab, Japan has been installed with a capacity of more
             than 20,000 cylinders /annum at Noida, India plant.

Future Plans
Setting-up-new units in Europe and other regions very shortly, reaching nearer to the end customers.
